UK Trip - Day One Birmingham

I took a trip to England in the early part of January. For whatever reason, I edited on my Mac and they were perfectly clear, but when I transferred to my PC (where the internet connection is) they came up darker.  But anyway...

I was intrigued by the stone arches, which were like overpasses with other streets and whatnot.

This was some college I think.  I just liked the buildings because they are so unlike the stuff you see here in the states.
THIS thing--the Selfridges Building--is so cool.  It looks like a snake crossed with a fish, and was just such an interesting building.  I took way too many pictures of it.

Would have been better without the street sign.

I hate that it's backlit, but the church in juxtaposition to the Selfridges building was pretty interesting.
These are my first real attempts at dusk/night photography.  Not my best, but not horrible.

The Bullring after a freak sleet/snow storm.

Selfridges at night.

I attempted at least ten shots of the church at night, but it was hard to get anything without camera shake (I had no tripod or anything remotely sturdy to rest my arm on that would allow me to get the entire church in frame.

Liked primary colors of the lights.

The Bullring and the infamous bull.

It's out of focus and has a lot of camera shake, but I still liked it.
