When you do things by saying something - you can use Present Simple!

When you suggest something, you can say: "I suggest ..."; when you advice something, you can say: "I advice ..."; etc.

For example:

  • I promise not to cry.
  • What do you advise I do?
  • I suggest you to eat these food more.

The same with: I agree ...; I apologise ...; I refuse ...; I insist; etc.
