Some years ago my friends made a joke. The filled the juice bottle with vodka and put it on the table. I was living in hostel. So, I was normal to come to someone as a guest and eat or drink all that you see :). So, I took the bottle and drunk a little :)

A funny joke played on me my colleagues. It was just on the 1 of April, 1989. Our ship returned home after the voyage to Vienna and I, having taken my journey bag, went ashore. I carried my bag and wondered as heavy it was. But I consoled myself: the bag is heavy, for I’ve bought many gifts for my relatives. So I reached the bus stop and get home. As great was my astonishment when I've opened my bag and found there the main diesel engine timing valve (клапан газораспределения главного двигателя). Its weight was about 6 kg!

Have your heard about Spaghetti tree :)?
The spaghetti tree is a fictitious tree and the subject of a 3-minute spoof report on the Swiss spaghetti harvest beside Lake Lugano broadcast by the BBC current affairs programme Panorama.
This is the most popular and famous joke

Years ago, a local radio station broadcast a news story that the drinking water supply (for a local small town) had been found to contain a high concentration of the deadly chemical Dihydrogen Monoxide(DMHO). They warned that this colorless, odorless, tasteless, deadly chemical was responsible for the deaths of thousands of people each year. They warned that the accidental inhalation DMHO would cause sudden death. Prolonged exposure to the solid form of DMHO could cause tissue damage. Ingestion of large quantities of DMHO in the liquid form could cause bloating, vomiting and excessive urination.

This radio broadcast caused hundreds of citizens to call the water department in panic. The city that was the subject of the hoax tried to bring legal action against the radio broadcasters.

It was all to no avail as Dihydrogen Monoxide is a correct but never used term for water!
