jogging or diet?
As for you, what is better, to keep a starvation diet, for instance, not to have any meal after 6 p.m. or just to have a jogging at least three times a week?

The truth is always in common sense )))

p.s. do not starve, if you are going to work and study then your brain should be properly fed; jogging is good instead of bus or taxi (mind the jams!)

3 times a week - it's nothing, believe me :) I'm a professional runner and I also have a degree in powerlifting. I know what about the right diet. The best way to stay in fit is to run for 40 minutes at least 3 times a week.

It's another side of problem. You are a professional runner, as you said. Of course, your body is excellent and very attractive. But I'm speaking about the people, who spend 8-9 hours and more in offices, working hard. It's pretty hard for them to find some time for jogging or some other activity. And they begin to keep a diet.
And one more question for you. Firstm you said, that 3 times a week is nothing, but as a conclusion claimed, it's a best way to stay fit. Explain, please, what did you mean? :)

The thing is that I saw a lot of people who tried to lose weight. They tried to run 1 or 2 km. It's nothing, because your body will burn yout extra fat after 40 minutes of aerobic training. So, I don't think that diet is a good way to lose weight.
I just wanted to say, that jogging 3 times a week is just a light aerobic load. It's more effective to run at least 3 times week. Jogging, as I understand, is just a long walk.

I am older, but I have enjoyed a lifetime of exercising by swimming, biking and jogging between three and 7 times a week. As we mature, we may do more swimming and biking and less jogging, but I do not see where there is any conflict between exercising and eating! I enjoy three basic/nutritious meals every day. Certainly I have never starved my body or dieted to lose weight ! I see both exercising and nutritious eating as essential parts of one's healthy lifestyle for fitness and weight control.

Thanks, Rodamer! I fully agree with you. Probably, I didn't state the question absolutly clear, but I meant that it's not necessary to starve, it's a good idea just to have some activity. I see, you had and apparently still have a healthy life style. That's why, you have never starved or dieted. I find it great! Thanks once again for your answer!

I need to comment on your English, swatch_de : it is simply superb. One would have to search very, very deep to find even a hint of a flaw! Congratulations on your competency!

Do you have a career planned ahead for you using your obvious language skills?
swatch_de, 323 days ago 0
It's a very controversial question for me. On one hand I'm an engineer now, I have been working at a company, which provides a mobile connection service for about 2 year. I have quite a lot experience in this area and can develop my skills. Moreover I spent half a year abroad, working by Deutsche Telekom AG (it's a world biggest company).
On the other hand, using foreign language can be much more profitable, as it's easier to start own business. In this case I need some additional education (at least 2 years) and I defenitely have to take some language test, for instance TOEFL.
In any case, I'm quite young now and have a little time more for consideration.

Dear friends, I have too some experience in the matter that is under our consideration. I never adhered to diets but all the life trained my muscles, heart and lungs (not forgetting about my brains!). The main matter is system and regularity. You should burn all the calories you have obtained! In this way you’ll save good shape of your body, health and robustness.
